Saw you today after so much time. Felt just like it used to. One year had gone by. Walking for hours, side by side, in each of our new lives. 

Wanted to ask if we could of been, but my lungs wouldn't give breath to the words. You always had something so effortless, a kindness that dove through your blue eyes and into mine. 

We can take a walk, I can afford to give you my time. And just as the trees were beginning to grow again, so were we. You don't have to think about love like this, you either feel it or you don't. 

We used to drink wine on my floor, I'd wake up under the soft grip of your arms. It made me want you more. 

So I'm just saying, I'm not waiting but I'm willing. 

If you ever want to be in love, I'll come around.
